Hi I'm just wondering if there are some people who've studied at OVC and then practiced somewhere else outside of Canada? Is it possible to do this? Thank you!

Yes, most definitely. Just because one studies veterinary medicine at the OVC does not mean one is limited to practicing only in Canada. Indeed, coming from the OVC, in most cases it would not be overly difficult to meet a country's licensing requirements and get licensed to practice in that country, sometimes with just some minor hoops to jump though (e.g., additional tests, specific qualifications which may or may not already be met, etc., specific to the country in which you are interested). Many international students studying at the OVC plan to return to work in their home country upon graduation, and some domestic students will end up practicing abroad. For more information, you should look up the veterinary licensing body for the country/countries you are interested in to see their specific requirements. For example, here are the requirements for Canadian graduates to become licensed in the UK: www.rcvs.org.uk/registration/how-to-register/us-canadian-graduates/. Aside from licensing requirements, you would also have to make sure you meet the country's immigration requirements.
