I'm curious as to whether using two vet references from the same clinic would be detrimental to an application vs. using vet references from two different places. I have been working at a clinic for almost 4 years now, and there are multiple vets there that have known me since I was in high school. I would think that using two good-quality references from people that know me well would be better than having a reference from a vet at another clinic that has only known me for a few months and on a volunteer-basis. Has anyone had this dilemma? I know it says on the OVC website that it's preferred to have vets from different places, but I'm just wondering if anyone has had any luck using two vets from the same place. I realize this might also just be me over-analyzing, as I usually do when it comes to my application Thanks!!!

I used two from the same clinic, no problem and I know a few other people who have as well. I would make sure to have a 3rd reference from somewhere else though.

I was worried about this as well! But I ended up using two references from vets at the same clinic and was accepted. I also had slightly different experiences with each vet which may have helped.
