That feeling when you are rejected with an 89% average. Guess I most likely got an interview score below ~76% (If going by last year's range)... wonder what it was... guess only a couple of weeks to find out. Oh this was also the 3rd application. So much for this year being the year... I feel you. I was rejected with 87% and I thought the interview went well. I can't believe an 89% isn't even enough anymore. I'm not even sure if there's a point applying next year.

Overit, it is tough. I got a refusal as well, however I know the Lord Jesus Christ let's the things in my life for a reason. He brought me this far and he'll always have me, whatever the path may be.
You still have your fourth try yet, and your marks are good! I encourage you to not give up and to try again next year.
Take care.

I was rejected with an 87.6 avg and a 79.5 interview score. Although I'm extremely upset it feels good to know that I didn't completely bomb my interview. The positive is that we know what to expect for next year, and hopefully we will get higher interview scores. We all deserve it. We work so hard. For next year I plan to practice and read up on as much as I can to ace the interview. Congrats to all those accepted, and for those rejected - I feel the pain.

Truly feel for all the people that did not get into the school of their dreams yesterday. Please do not give up. I may just be an undergrad but I empathize with the passion many/most of us have with the field of veterinary medicine and can feel your pain even thinking about being refused to do what I love. But again, please do not give up. I know many people in OVC as well as the vet I currently work with that did not get in on their first, second, or even third try. I am so glad to see the people being accepted that have worked so hard to achieve their goals but am saddened by those who are not currently able to continue with their dream. I know there isn't much I can say but just keep going guys.

I got 87.8 and 77.8 on my interview. I think it sucks that I didn't get in, but I'm really glad to see I was probably close. It just means that with minor adjustments, we will get in next year!

I agree! So many people get in on the 2nd/3rd try. I was soooooooo bummed yesterday but it's becoming more acceptable now. This is our dose of reality I guess

I do have a back up but it isn't vet related. I don't know how much that will help you

Does anyone have tips for improving interview scores?
I felt like mine went pretty well and was expecting something in the 80's but ended up with a 77%. I want to apply again next year but I don't know if there's a point since I don't know what I could have done differently.
