Last year interview scores came out a few days after the final decisions.
I just wanted to say I know how hard it is getting rejected. This was my third application and I was finally accepted. My grades aren’t in the 90’s, so I believe I was able to boost my interview score enough to get in. So don’t give up! If OVC is your dream, you can definitely achieve it.

This was my third attempt as well and so I'm very familiar with the pain of 'Refused Admission'. You just gotta keep trying, keep improving, and believe you are good enough. A refused admission doesn't mean you can't be a vet. You will find a way!

Is there any one to contact about what could have gone wrong with my application? I cannot figure out where my weaknesses are and this is my second rejection

With acceptances out, as promised in my interview debrief I'm posting here if anyone needs help and support with whatever news they received yesterday. CONGRATULATIONS to everyone that got in - you did it! If the news was not what you were hoping for please don’t think any less of all the hard work that you have put in over so many years in preparation for this year’s application! DON'T give up and be kind to yourself! You deserve as much congratulations for your efforts as anyone else! There's no doubt that the pain of not getting in is a hard pill to swallow, but do what you can to learn from this experience and take comfort in the fact that students every year get in on their second, third, EVEN their fourth application. If being a veterinarian is your dream, you will find a way of making it happen - I believe in YOU & you should believe in YOU too! The students at OVC are here to support you - here is a post dedicated to helping you through this: fvc.proboards.com/thread/7010/ovc-students-fur If you ever need to chat, please feel free to reach out to me on this forum or by email: schroets@uoguelph.ca.
YOU CAN DO IT & YOU WILL DO IT!

I cannot figure out where my weaknesses are and this is my second rejection Hey wondering, I'm sorry to hear that If you made it to the interview stage, then there wasn't anything wrong with your application. An unsuccessful application at that point simply means your interview score combined with your admission grades (35%:65% weighting, respectively, after interviews) was not in the top 100 of the 200 interviewed. You should get your interview score within the next few weeks, which may give you a better idea of how your performed. Please don't give up! Best of luck.

Hey 3TimeCharmed, Thanks for replying. In my first application I was interviewed and rejected with a 72 interview score, so I hired two tutor companies to try to get my MMI grade up this year. I was rejected after the interview again this year and my suspicion was that it was the interview once again so I appreciate your reply. I was worried something else was wrong but I agree, I think it was the interview again Did you get in?

Keep in mind that the process is very competitive and the score difference between the 100th ranked person and the 101st is less than 1%.
