Hi everyone,
I am doing my undergrad at guelph and have a question about academic admissions to the ovc. When applying must my course level be the same as my semester year, for example if I am in my 4th year and take a genetics 3000 level course will I not be able to use that course as one of my 8 prerequisite courses?? Also, because of this will my semester be voided?
Thank you in advance for your help.

As long as you are following the 60/40 rule you should be okay. So if you are in your 4th year then 3 out of your 5 classes for a semester must be in the 3000 or 4000 level, and it doesn't matter what level the other two courses are so long as you are not repeating content. So in your example, you would be able to take the 3000 genetics in 4th year
