Anyone else rejected even though they beat posted stats?

Hi All, 

I Received a rejection letter for the fall 2019 cycle. No biggy, I figured others just did better then me. Until today when I checked the admission stats. 

Admitted median grade: 90.2
My grade: 93

Admitted median interview: 80.6
My grade: 81.2

I called to find out if this was an administrative error and the admission office said that my grades/interview/experience w animals / references / essays were all fine, they are rejecting me for some unnamed reason they are not willing to share. 

Has anyone else experienced this? I am very confused and this is an even harder pill to swallow knowing I met all the requirements. Not sure how to better myself for next year?

Any advice would be great, feeling very confused.

Most likely a red flag and they basically won’t tell you what it was which sucks so much
