If i am taking a humanities full year course (fall and winter), and my fall semester was only 4 courses but my winter semester was 5 courses, will i get half of the credit at least (opposed to the full credit because i understand my fall semester was not considered a full course load).
Thank you

For this specific situation, you should contact OVC admissions.

Hi cp3k,
I am in a similar situation. I took 5 courses including a full year course in the fall, but then dropped a course later in the year and only had four courses in the winter. I contacted OVC admissions and was told that my fall semester would still be counted as a full time semester, even though the second half of that one full year course was completed in a non-full time semester. I hope that makes sense lol. Anyway, your winter semester should still be counted, but you could write to admissions yourself just for your own peace of mind.

Thanks for the reply, What you said makes perfect sense. However in terms of the humanities course that I am taking which is fall + winter, do you know if I will receive half of the credit for it because my winter semester is a full course load.

Talk to Deanna Lundmark about this. If you want a 100% reliable answer, go to the source. That way too, you have record of it in case any issues arise. Submit your transcript and proposed prereq courses (as instructed on the website) and get them approved. That's the easiest way to get an answer. Good luck!

Hello, I was just wondering for course overload semester is 2.75 rather then 2.5 credits. Will the average for the semester take into account that there is a 0.75 credit course or are all five courses equal in that semester (all be weighted equal) ?
I know the semester with the overload is equal to a semester without an overload, I was just wondering about the species for the course!
Thanks
