Hey everyone who is waiting to hear!! I noticed last year they had a thread going on where everyone posted when they heard about interviews, and it seemed really helpful! So I thought I would start one for us...
Please post when you hear any news!

You are most definitely not alone! I've been checking every 20 minutes, seriously. The hours I'm at work and can't check nearly kill me. When I checked this and saw that someone had posted something about interviews and I knew I had nothing in my inbox I thought that I didn't get an invite and had a minor freakout. I hope the waiting ends very soon!!!

I heard that they are meeting tomorrow and Friday to make the decision of whos getting interviews and then the emails will probably be sent out sometime next week, mostly likely towards the end of the week

I bought Rollins' book too. You may want to skip the theoretical ethics in the first bit and jump to the cases. I found it very good reading because if makes you think about situations/scenarios you may not have considered unto that point. I agree, it gets repetitive after a point, but if your experience is mainly in one or two aspects of vet med, (I had no production/large animal experience- I went in with small animal and lab animal vet experience), a book like this helps you broaden your horizons.
Some of my classmates have told me they prepared by practicing talking at people. It may not sound like much, but it can be very intimidating to sit and talk for 8 min on the day of your interviews.
My biggest words of advice would be: A. Be there EARLY! (I had the horrible luck of getting stuck in a TERRIBLE traffic jam on the day of my interview) B. Be CALM! (Take a deep breath and forget about your last station and focus on whats in front of you at the moment. Use your 2 minutes at each station wisely) C. Be YOURSELF! (Don't lie and don't give answers you think they want. Say what you believe.)
Good Luck everyone!

Hey drv and vmurphy-- I was just wondering where you were able to find a copy of that book to buy? All the websites I have been to say it is on backorder for at least 5 weeks (including book stores, amazon, chapters etc) and there are no copies within any libraries around me! I even checked other cities. Any help would be amazing There are only so many scenarios I am able to think of myself.

I bought it online, but I bought it much earlier. Try libraries or talk to vets you've worked- most have at least one or two ethics books.
