hey!
As per the OVC website... A maximum of TWO acceptable distance education, online course (0.50 credit) via the Office of Open Learning may be included in a semester. The semester must include a minimum of 2.50 acceptable credits total.
As long as you have the courses in full time semesters, that should be fine. I used biol2021 as a prereq.

Hey, Thanks for the reply! My question was more so asking whether anyone knew any verified distant education cell biology courses as the cell bio course i took which seems to be the only one accepted by DVM was taken in a non full time semester. Therefore my only option (that i know of) is to take distant education courses.

Hi cp3k
This may not apply, but if you had no other choice than to take a non full time semester - due to medical or financial reasons, you can submit a letter of appeal with any supporting documentation you can get, and you may be able to use that semester if the appeal is granted.

Thank you for mentioning that lowenger. I am just fearful that I will not be able to apply for my fourth year of university (next year) to DVM because of this one cell bio pre requisite course. I have yet to find a course that will satisfy it at Yorku.
The only bright side is that I have till winter semester to find a course. Anyone with any information is more then welcome to reply!
