Hi, I'm a high school student and was looking into courses I would need to take all the prerequisites for the DVM program. I'm taking Biology, Chemistry and Calculus, but really would not want to take physics unless it is absolutely necessary for the university prerequisites for DVM. Any help is much appreciated.

Hey, High school student!
In short, the answer is you gotta take Physics.
Heres why: 1.Most (if not all) undergrad degree programs in the Biological Sciences require you to take Physics in 1st yr. So you cant really get out of it. Where are you thinking of applying?
2. A large part of your MCATs (standardized test you write thats needed before you can apply to vet school) is Physics.
3. Besides, even in vet school, after your undergrad degree, you'll find physics comes in handy when we talk about radiology and other stuff. So a good understanding is key.
