Hello,
I require some clarification in regards to the following statement:
"A full-time semester (full course load) is minimum 2.50 credits at the University of Guelph. This is typically five courses at 0.50 credits each per semester."
Typically yes...but there are some exceptions as demonstrated by my semester posted below. I achieved a credit weight of 2.50 credits in one semester via 4 courses instead of the typical 5. My question is...would this semester be considered a "full-time semester" despite the fact that it does not reflect the typical full course load of 5 courses?
If possible, I would like to submit the MBG course as my genetics prerequisite, however, I am unsure it would be approved due to my uncertainty with this semester. Any insight is greatly appreciated! Thanks.
Fall Semester: BIOL*3310 - Population Ecology 0.50 Credits BIOM*3200 - Mammalian Physiology 1.00 Credits MBG*2020 - Introductory Molecular Biology 0.50 credits ZOO*3200 - Comparative Animal Phys I 0.50 credits

Just be sure that the credits apply to that semester. Some 1 credit courses are over 2 semesters so are equivalent to .5

Thank you both for the feedback! And yes, BIOM*3200 was a condensed course completed in a single semester, hence the full credit weight.
