I was hoping to apply to the OVC next semester. My marks overall are pretty good except for one statistics course that I got a pretty low mark on. Will that be taken into account, or will they look at the overall grades? Thanks!

I would suggest getting very familiar with the academic requirements section of the OVC website. Your 8 prerequisite courses have to be acceptable (Guelph acceptable courses are on the website) and your semesters but be full time (2.5 credits) with a minimum 60% at 3rd or 4th-year level once you have more than 10.0 credits. If your semesters are acceptable then they average your 8 prerequisites (bio, stats, biochem etc.) with your last two full-time semesters to come up with your application average. If your low stats mark is in the only statistics course you've ever taken, they will look at it because it is a prerequisite. Alternatively, if it is in one of your last two full-time semesters, it will also be included in their admission average calculation.
TLDR: yes, they will look at it unless it is old and you have a better statistics mark to put forward.
