Hi everyone! Thought we should get a feel of the applicant pool averages this year. What averages did everyone apply with? (If you don’t mind sharing of course)! Are you asking about the last 2 semesters, the 8 prerequisites or the combined score?

Realistically, add 0.1-0.2% to last year's average for admitted applicants and leave the interview score the same. That will give you a better idea (and probably some wiggle room) of what the average will likely be. This small sample likely won't be enough to approximate the distribution, but based on the past few years I would say it is a safe bet that the average will go up slightly, or remain the same. Eventually, there is going to have to be a plateau.
If you are in the 86.5-89 range, you need to do well in your interview (and i'd say confidently you are going to get one). 89-91 you will likely get in with a middle of the road interview, and 91+ have a small safety net. Every year someone goes from the bottom to the top and/or the top to the bottom. These figures are just my opinion and are not based on OVC's current figures.

I agree with admitted
Once you've received your interview, I'd like to think that everyone's on even playing ground. I was one of the applicants with marks in the lower range but was able to get in with a good interview mark! Now that everyone's marks are in, focus on developing your interview skills. It makes all the difference!!! A super good average doesn't guarantee admission and an average on the lower end doesn't mean that there's no hope. Good Luck!

I was denied an interview with an 87 average :/ I was wondering if anyone out there got an interview with a similar average?? I wanna know if the cut off was higher this year or something was wrong with my application. Anything to give me some closure

Anything to give me some closure I got an interview last year (and the year before) with an 87.2 admission average. I really thought I’d get an interview based off last year’s statistics but I guess the cut off increased? :/
