Hey,
I was wondering if anyone may know of more information of this, or who I should speak to. I know that applying through the graduate cohort is becoming more competitive and is lost useful if you’ve gone through and been published etc. However, I was looking more towards coursework masters (I know you wouldn’t be published that way), and I heard once that you can still apply to OVC through the undergrad cohort with a coursework masters. So I was curious if anyone knew, would your masters then count nust as your last two full time semesters, or could you use grades from it as your prereqs? (I’m not actually sure how exactly grading works for a coursework masters or if there’s courses that would count as prereqs).
Any information would be lovely or if you know of a program counsellor or someone I should be speaking to that’s be helpful as well!
Thank you!

Hello - I am a current Msc by Coursework student and am applying in the undergraduate cohort. They do not count masters courses towards your full time semesters as the set up is a bit different and you only take ~3 courses per semester. I am using my last two undergraduate semesters for pre-requisites as well as last two full time undergraduate semesters. You can always email admissions to answer any of your questions - they are very helpful

It is true that we look at undergrad semesters only ... but you can use grad courses or undergrad courses taken during a grad full time semester as prerequisites. BUT you need to get them approved, and you must be registered as a full time student. All rules about course level and not repeating content still applies.
c13 the grad cohort has always been competitive and was created to attract potential future researchers into the program. So productivity is key.
