Hi there!
I still require a genetics course to fulfill the OVC prerequisite requirements, which I have to take in the Fall 2020 semester (before December 31st). Due to course conflicts and limited enrollment space as a result of Covid-19, I won't be able to take a genetics course at my university. I have been looking at taking it online at another school; however, most genetics courses at other institutions require prerequisites that I don't meet. I have attempted emailing professors to ask for permission to enroll, but most have rejected my request.
I know Athabasca University (in Alberta) offers an online genetics course that I can enroll in right now without permission. However, I'm concerned that OVC may not view Athabasca as an accredited university. Does anyone know OVC's policy, or perhaps schools that OVC accepts/rejects credits from? Would taking my genetics prerequisite at Athabasca be okay? Please let me know.
Thanks in advance for all your answers/contributions!
