Hey all,
Looking for some insight, or reassurance , I don’t even know. I’m trying to pick courses for a final semester, and I’m stuck between a course that is supposed to be easy and sounds interesting but is online and mostly self directed and doesn’t count as an OVC pre req, and a course that is supposed to be easy, is lecture based, counts as a prereq , but has assignments im unsure about. is it worth it to take a course that doesn’t count as a prereq? I feel like it’s pointless but I also don’t need more prereqs at this point.
Thank you!

Hi there, if you are not looking to upgrade any electives for next year's application (if you don't get admitted/aren't applying this application cycle), then I would still recommend taking the course you think you will do best in, so that way you can maximize your semester grade in case you do not get admitted this cycle. If you apply again next cycle, this winter semester will count as one of your two semester grades (assuming all the rules are followed that make it an eligible semester). So, to kind of summarize, just take the course you think you will do better in! Sorry if this was confusing. I hope it was at least a bit helpful. - a Topaz Turtle
