Does anyone know if POPM*3240 Epidemiology at UofG is an acceptable stats prerequisite? It's not on the list provided on the OVC website, but there is a similar course at the graduate level listed.

Not completely sure as you would need to verify with admissions, but I wouldn't think so because I took that course and it didn't focus on statistics at all it just went over a few basic concepts to help you understand terms. The one at the graduate level may actually go more into depth on it hence why it's listed.

I asked admissions about that course last year & was told it's not an acceptable stats prereq. Feel free to verify though!
I ended up just taking the 2nd stats course & it was way easier than the 1st one imo, so if you haven't already I would recommend:)

Thank you both! I've already taken the equivalent of the first two stats courses at a different university, but this was several years ago when I wasn't too concerned about my marks and so my grades in those are not ideal. It looks like I may have to see what's available at other universities.
