I'm applying to OVC this year to hopefully get admission for the 2023 year. I'm returning to guelph in September in order to raise my average - hopefully I can only take a couple classes as I have to work full-time to support myself. It looks like I'm currently applying with an 88.9, which most likely isn't good enough. I'm thinking of taking STAT 2060 and BIOC 3560 (with sanders) in September to hopefully get 90's and boost my application average to about 91%. As ridiculous as it sounds that probably won't even be too competitive either LOL. Do you guys think those are two good classes I should take to raise my average? If not, what other options should I try? I really didn't like andy robinson, I was having a lot of trouble with his genetics stuff so I'd like to avoid his classes if possible.
Here are my grades for my 8 pre-requisites:
Biological Sciences 1. ENVS 2210 = 99 2. BIOM 4090 = 96
Biochemistry 1. BIOC 2580 = 75
Statistics 1. STAT 2050 = 76
Cell Biology
1. class from another school = 86
Genetics
1. class from another school = 78 *I did take MBG 3060 at guelph and got a 74
Humanities/Social Science 1. UNIV 2020 = 95 2. SOCI 1100 = 95
Last 2 full-time semesters: 90.3% 8 pre-requisites: 87.5%
Remember you need to be taking a full course load (2.5 credits which is five 0.5 credit classes) to use the semester or any of the classes you take as prereqs!!!! If you only take 2 classes the entire semester is invalid.
