Hi, If I remember correctly, last year, the academic requirement page of the OVC website stated that the number of pre-requisite courses was 8, out of which 3 were biology (including 0.5 of cellular biology). I just checked the website again and Cellular biology is now listed separately from the rest of the biological sciences, leading to a total of 9 courses.
As I scrolled down on the page, where it describes the 40:40:20 breakdown, it says the following: 40% is the average of your eight required prerequisite courses (taken during acceptable full-time semesters)
Is there a mistake on the website, or have the requirements changed from last year?

Hi Ratshark,
The requirements are 1.5 credits of biology, (three classes) 0.5 of which needs to be a cell bio. Now they list biology and cell biology seperately, but they're listed as 1.0 credits biology (2 classes) and 0.5 credits cell bio(one class); the total is the same.

Thank you for the clarification. I see the change now on the website as well.
