If we have done a veterinary/animal experience for 3 years at one clinic but only in the summers (i.e. May-August) should we put it as one instance of experience and have the To/From section over all three years (e.g. May 2012-August 2014), or split it up into three separate instances of experience?
Thanks so much!

I would split them , or if you have other experiencies and cannot add more I would put it in one and in duties start the sentence with something like : over the past 3 summers.........I am ceratin 100% sure but this is what I would do

Hey guys,
I just noticed on my WebAdvisor, in Documents, it says that the letter of intent is due 01/06/2015 (June 1st, 2015). I know it is part of the BIF which is due tonight. Just wondering, can anyone clarify/confirm?
Thanks so much!

I don't have that in webadvisor, only DVM Background Info Form 2015 & Other Document References 2015.

Oh really? Interesting. In WebAdvisor, in Documents, I have "DVM Background Info Form", "Letter of Intent", "MCAT/GRE Scores", "Other Document References", and "University Transcripts 11-2014/12".

Oh are you applying from the University of Guelph as a "transfer" that could be why? I am from a different University!

I forgot the MCAT. I am an internal transfer so that would explain it. External applicants will probably see a letter of intent since its part of the general application, I had to do that for my single semester. I'm pretty sure that you only need the 3 required docs - mcat, bif and reference letters.

In my veterinary section, if I often worked with two of the veterinarians at a clinic in my time there, would it be alright to include both veterinarians in the "Name of Veterinarian" section? Or since I am splitting up three summers of work with this clinic, put one doctor for two of them and the other doctor for one of them? Any info would be great!
Thanks!

Hi TomB,
I would put both veterinarians names down for all the times you mention the same clinic. I would also only include the same clinic once. And just put that you where only there for the summer months. As long as you give the correct number of hours it should be fine.
I didn't have this problem for any of my vet/animal experience but for my working experience I put down that I was a camp counsellor for three summers but didn't include that three times. I just did a start date to an end date. And included it all as one.
Hopefully this makes sense.

Hi guys,
Just a quick question: one of my validators has just informed me that they have had to change their phone number. Their old number is the contact number I put on my BIF for my involvement in that activity. Is it possible to email admissions to inform them and give them the new number? Just not sure how I would go about doing that. Any suggestions would be helpful!
Thanks guy!
