I am looking to take a non-degree semester at York U ( I have already graduated). Does anyone know an upper year genetics course at York that was approved for the DVM program? Along with any other courses that you would recommend taking at York?

Hi
It would be best to get any course you wish to use as a prerequisite from York assessed by Deanna. Course content may change over the years so if someone used a course in a previous application, the current course would still need to be assessed.

As already mentioned above it is best to get them assessed by Deanna. However, i just got my course eval. back a few weeks ago. The courses i got approved at york are as follows: For 2 biological science courses: (got 3 approved) - Animals BIOL 2030 - Animal physiology BIOL 3060 - Parasitology BIOL 4360 Genetics: BIOL 2040 Cell biology: BIOL 2021 Biochemistry: BIOL 2020 Stats: Intro to stats MATH 1131 I still need to get 2 humanities approved so if you know any and could let me know that'd be great I hope this helps!
