Registration for Mock MMIs OPENS this friday (JAN 23rd) It's $10 for University of Guelph Future Vets Club members and $15 for non-members . We will collect funds the day of the interview. The majority of funds raised will be going to support the Ontario Veterinary College 2017 and 2018 classes.

The University of Guelph Future Vets Club Mock MMIs for 2015 are here! We will be running two sessions on back to back Saturdays, Feb 28th 2015 and March 7th 2015 The Mock MMIs are meant to be used as a practice run for the Multiple Mini Interviews used by the Ontario Veterinary College and many Medical Schools. You will get to practice scenarios chosen to emphasize characteristics that veterinary schools and medical schools will be looking for. The scenarios will be created by OVC students but will be suitable for both med and vet school. OVC students who have participated in MMIs in the past will be conducting the interviews. There will be a group debrief session at the end of everyone’s interview allowing you to learn ways to improve your interview skills. Being able to have a practice run before interviews is an invaluable experience. All years are welcome to participate.

Hi guest7777,
Try to get your hands on the Veterinary Medical Ethics book by Bernard Rollin. You can get one used or borrow it from a library if you go early. I borrowed one from U of T before my interview and had no problem getting it because there wasn't much competition there. You likely won't use it again after the MMI (unless you have to reapply or ethics is your thing), so borrowing is probably your best and cheapest option.
Good luck
