Hi everyone!
I submitted my first application for OVC in March, received an interview but didn't get in. I think my main downfall was my interview, and plan to improve that area with the help of the Rollins book, etc. I think the next step would be to improve my last two semester averages, and as a result, I plan to do a non-degree semester to boost my grades. Can I take any courses during this non-degree semester, as long as they are the highest level of course I can take in that subject area so as to not repeat material? For example, I was thinking of taking a few Business or Psychology courses. I have tried contacting Deanna Lundmark to verify, but haven't received a reply thus far.

Are you sure the interview was your weakest point? It might be worth waiting for admission statistics to be released so you can see where you fall before enrolling in another semester. Taking another full semester is expensive, but definitely worth it if it helps you to be accepted. I'm guessing the admission stats aren't released until after we go back to school though. :/ Try browsing through the other topics, there is one where several accepted students posted their stats. Best of luck!
