Can I take a semester off and still apply to OVC?

I am currently in the middle of my undergraduate degree and would like to take a semester off (due to personal reasons). Normally I would be graduating this spring, however I would like to take the semester off. This means that I will have to return for an extra semester to complete my degree. Will this impact my application at all?

Only in as much as your application will only count your last 2 full time semesters. There isn't a penalty for time off.
