I'm currently going to Gr12 this September. I fast tracked Advanced Functions and did very poorly. I am interested in applying to UofG for Animal Biology next year and I am wondering what your averages were when you got accepted. I saw on a website that it is high 70s to low 80s, but I'm sure they are looking for higher marks. Thanks

Hi Aspiringvet
There are some Animal Bio students in this site but you might have more luck on the Facebook Group - there's one for the Future Vets Club and one for Animal Biology.

I got a 50% in Advanced Functions and took it again and got a 75% with the same teacher the following semester and with the help of a tutor! I did not apply for Animal Biology but I got into the Biological Sciences major with a 75% in Advanced Functions. My overal average of pre-requisites was an 84% when I applied back in 2010 for undergrad. Advanced Functions is such a pain, the funny thing is you will probably use it once or twice in calculus and that's it. Best of luck!
