Hello, I was wondering for the two veterinary references if they have to be from veterinarians who work hands on with animals. If I have done research with a vet can i use them as my vet reference even though the research was online?

It states on the website that it doesn't have to be clinical

It states on the website that it doesn't have to be clinical Hi Elizabeth, I know two veterinarians who work in the same clinic. I have mostly worked with one veterinarian this particular clinic who I will be putting down as my referee#1. But the second veterinarian also works at another hospital, where I have gained more shadowing experience with them at that other clinic. I was wondering what your thoughts were on putting the second veterinarian as my second referee. I am on the fence because veterinarian references from different clinics is preferred, so I don’t know if it matters whether the veterinarians also work at the same hospital too. But with Covid my options are sort of limited because I have gained the most experience with these two veterinarians. Thank you in advance!

It doesn't matter as long as the references are positive and they know you well! We prefer you get experience at different places to round out your experience but assessments can be from the same clinic.

Hi Elizabeth,
Could 3 references be from the same clinic if we have experience at different clinics? My options were also limited with Covid, but I have 3 positive referees that know me very well at this one place.
Thank you!
