Hello everyone, The OVC's 2012 Mock MMI is now open for registration! They will be running on Saturday, March 24th.
For those of you unaware, the Mock MMI is a fundraiser run by DVM students for the Phase 2 class fund. It is meant as a "practice run" of the Multiple Mini interview, which the top 200 DVM applicants must go through each year as part of their application. The real MMI has a series of 8 stations, and applicants present responses for given scenarios to two interviewers at each station.. The mock MMI will emulate this, but for practical purposes only includes 5 or 6 stations and sometimes with just one interviewer. Individual feedback cannot be provided, but there will be a general debrief following the sessions to help point out areas needing improvement.
There are a limited number of slots available, and they will be provided on a first-come-first-serve basis. The slots will fill up quickly, so do not delay in registering!
Registration is $10. To reserve your slot, contact Chanelle at: MMIOVC@gmail.com She will get back to you within a day or two confirming your reservation, and you will be assigned an interview time a few weeks later.

They said they'll let me know once they are not accepting new registrations. Last I heard, they were forming a waitlist to see if they could fit more people in by altering the schedule.

Just a reminder that international and grad cohort applicants do not do the MMI. Just those applying to the undergrad cohort.

Hey Guys!
Just wanted to clarify that the Mock Mini Interview's are a fundraiser for the Phase 2 class fund (which pays for important things such as our graduation fees), not a fundraiser for Global Vets. Im sorry that this was a confusion! If you have any questions, please as always feel free to email me at the mmiovc@gmail.com email.
Thank you!
Chanelle
