I have a quick question about how the statistics are listed. I just wanted to check, but are the "ranges" posted the ranges of averages applicants got in with (eg. someone had a 76% average in the last two full-time semesters), or are they the lowest and highest marks applicants used to make up their averages (eg. lowest mark for any applicant was a 76% in one course used to make the average).
For example, looking at this:
Marks for the last two full-time semesters for ADMITTED 2012 Domestic Undergraduate Cohort applicants (n =100)
[glow=red,2,300]Range: 76.30 - 95 [/glow] Mean: 86.33 Median: 86.33

Hey Guest 1! I was successful in my application and had submitted courses with averages over 95% so I would assume it means that they are the actual averages of the 2 semesters, rather than individual course marks.

I'd second Guest3's thoughts that the stats are the ranges of averages for the admitted students. My class' stats had similar ranges to the 2016s: mid-70s to upper 90s, with a mean in the mid-80s. In my application, I had a low course mark in the mid-60s and a high course mark of 98 (both of which fall outside the given range for our class), with an overall average in each category (prereqs, last 2 semesters) in the mid-80s; this leads me to conclude the stats must be the low, high, and mean averages for the given category.
So, for your given numbers: someone in the admitted class had a 76.30% average for their last two full-time semesters, someone a 95% average, and the class as a whole averaged 86.33%.
