Hi, I am applying to the OVC this year and for our 8 required courses I want to use a course I took in second year. These are the course I took: PHYS*1080 ZOO*2090 ZOO*2100 STAT*2040 SOC*2070 Would this count as a full time semester every though I took a first year class? I had to because I didn't take physics in highschool Any help would be great!

In your post on the other board I finished with the following: As with all things related to the admissions process, it is always a good idea to clear things with the admissions office (i.e., Deanna Lundmark) so there are no unhappy surprises in the future; never fun getting a letter back disapproving the use of a course/semester you were counting on using. In this case especially, I would reiterate that you really should check these specific concerns with admissions, as there are lots of intricacies they take into consideration and, ultimately, they have the final say on what is deemed acceptable or not. With that said, in my opinion (for what it's worth), I think they would probably consider this a full-time semester, as you are doing 2.5 credits, even though one is a 1st year course. Now, they do have a line saying " It is expected that the level of an applicant’s courses will correspond to the semester level (year) of his or her program"...so, again, the admissions people are the only ones who can give you a final answer.
