I've applied to the DVM program a couple times in the past and since I didn't go to Guelph I got my courses approved by Penny Scott.
I've taken a couple years off applying now, and I know that Penny no longer works there. So can I still use the courses that were previously approved without going through that process again? I believe I should still have the emails she sent me, but if I didn't happen to have them anymore then what should I do? Thanks

Congratulations on your decision to re-apply. Since its been a few years, I'd definitely have Deanna Lundmark look at your courses - just in case. Send her the previous info & descisions you have along with the course descriptions. Be aware that the admissions department is very busy, my course evaluation in the spring took over 8 weeks. Good luck!

I went through the course approvals process around when Penny was leaving, so half my stuff was done by Penny, and the other half by Deanna. The approvals I received from Penny simply carried over and did not have to be re-done/re-approved by Deanna. I know they keep a detailed file of course approvals and communications (e.g., e-mails, faxes, etc.), so, depending how long ago your last application was, hopefully that file still exists and you just need to confirm things. Make contact with Deanna, let her know your situation, and attach your previous e-mails if you have them. As this question is so specific to your application, Ms. Lundmark is really the only one who will have a definitive answer. Also, I second cbarne01's congrats on deciding to re-apply. If you have any other questions about the application process or how your application can be improved, don't hesitate to post them. Best of luck.
