A quick question:
I volunteered at a vet clinic for a year, and I got hired and now work there 30/hours a week during school. I was wondering if I should split these and put both under the "veterinary experience" section of the BIF. I had different hours per week and duties between these two, so they would be best split, I just don't know if the employment should be under vet experience or "other employment".
Thanks!

guest1: Firstly, BOTH your voluntary and paid work experience at the vet clinic can go in the "Veterinary Experience" section of the BIF. The "Other Employment" section is really just for listing any "other" (i.e., non-vet, non-animal) jobs you may have had and want to include (e.g., I worked in engineering for a while, so that went in there).
As for whether you want to combine or split these entries, I'd say it's entirely up to you, and should be fine either way. It really depends how different these experiences were from one another. Luckily, you now have a maximum of 10 spaces thanks to the new online format, so you have plenty of space if you want to split them to emphasize the "different...duties" you had for each.
Remember that these sections (and the BIF as a whole) are essentially just used as flags (i.e., it's more that very minimal animal/vet experience or a lack of variety and/or quality might be enough to flag applications for further review or rejection. What they're looking for is a balance of quality experiences in multiple areas).
