Sometimes looking at these stats are extremely scary... lol
So if someone had 5 previous semesters then they'd apply in their third year during the Fall?

So if someone had 5 previous semesters then they'd apply in their third year during the Fall? In the admissions statistics document, most if not all of those who have completed five semesters are indeed those people who applied during their third year, and thus had: 2 semesters from first year 2 semesters from second year 1 semester from third year (i.e., the fall semester only, as the winter semester would not have final grades before the deadline for transcripts and, as such, would not have counted for admission's purposes) That's why many people who were admitted are listed as having completed five semesters, as many people apply during third year (initial application in the fall, with the remaining documents, etc. due during the winter), after having just become eligible after completing second year. Similarly, this is why the next bump is at 7-8 semesters completed, as this corresponds to those who applied during or right after completing fourth year, respectively (i.e., they wanted to complete their full four-year degree before vet school). All applicants need only have completed a minimum of four full-time semesters to be eligible to apply. Beyond that, you can apply whenever you so choose (at least in regards to the number of semesters required). I actually never really got why they reported the number of semesters completed since, beyond needing a minimum of four, it has no bearing on the admission process. So: " ...if someone had 5 previous semesters...," they are eligible to apply whenever they want; mostly this does correspond to people in third year, as described above.
