I've noticed there is a "have not observed" option on the referee assessment checklist for each quality evaluated. One of my vet references is a vet I worked for on a research project in a lab, so I didn't get to work with any animals. So for the "ability to work with animals" section, I'm assuming they would have to put "have not observed". Would this be cause for concern if they have checked this off? My other two references are from people I have worked with animals with, so I'm hoping they would check off "acceptable ability".

It would be more of a concern if the vet put 'have not observed' in most of the other traits. Vets also answer if they feel you would make a good future veterinarian (Would this candidate be suitable for the profession of veterinary medicine?)
