Out of curiosity, is the international cohort considered separate from the domestic cohort during the application procedure? ie. are there a certain number of seats reserved for international?

Yes, there is reserved seats for international students. I'm not 100% how many, but I believe it's around 10.

Its 15. And they are indeed separate. Most apply through VMCAS, some directly to the university.
