Hi all,
when you were deciding which university you'd do your bachelor's at (before OVC), what did you think about? What factors did you consider? Like, did you choose the university closest to you (so that commute wouldn't be an issue), or did you consider prestige or reputation (York/UofT), or what extracurriculars each uni offers? or something else?
Thanks guys.

I chose Guelph for my undergrad because I wanted to be able to get experience at OVC. Doing thing like volunteering there or foal watch are good resume builders. I have no regrets about choosing Guelph.

Applying to OVC wasn't on my radar when I started undergrad so I chose a school based on the sport that I wanted to compete in during university. I have no regrets not going to Guelph, I went to a university that as far as I know is definitely not considered prestigious and am happy with the choices I made. As long as you work hard during your undergrad and you work to get the volunteer experience necessary any university you go to is good enough so try not to worry to much about your choice. Go wherever you'd like to and try not to worry about what you think anyone else and any other program "wants" because you'll succeed where you're the most happy .

I chose Guelph because it was the only University that had the Animal Biology Program!
