Does anyone know if in the subject of the email it says whether you've been accepted or rejected, like if you're rejected does it say 'application to OVC 2026' versus 'Admission Offer'. I'm working all day on Thursday and would like to know if I should avoid looking at my emails until I'm home I think it'll show on WebAdvisor first! I'm not sure if the email will be sent at the same time or at a later date but I believe that's usually what happens I'd avoid looking at emails just in case if you don't want to accidentally see your outcome!

Does anyone happen to know around what time of day the results get released?

Does anyone happen to know around what time of day the results get released? The email came in around 2/3pm last year, not sure if acceptances came out sooner than that or at the same time. Also for the above question, the subject line in my rejection email was “Application to DVM”.

But from what I've heard not everybody's webadvisor updates at once so if it still says application received that doesn't necessarily mean you didn't get in! I just wanted to check if anyone else got an update becuase it seems super early.

Yes this happens every year, not sure if it's because they manually update them one by one or if WebAdvisor is just slow to update, but either way some get their answer before others.
So nothing is set until your portal updates or you get an email! Fingers crossed.

Can you tell me your admissions average and casper score?

Can you tell me your admissions average and casper score? Thank you!!!! I am so beyond excited I can't believe it! I wasn't crazy confident honeslty but that may just because I'm a harsh self-critic. My stats aren't crazy high or anything, so I really think my references and interview pulled me through. I am graduating from my MSc in neuro this summer and only discovered I wanted to be a vet two years ago, so this is my first app. So that means I didn't plan my undergrad or optimize my marks for vet school. But my application average was 90.7 and I had 4th quartile casper. I have a lot of experience on the research side of things, caring for research animals and working with a university veterinary team so I think that made me stand out. I felt like my interview went well but it wasn't completely perfect (but I think it's impossible to have a perfect interview), but I really discussed how I want to go into research in the future as a veterinarian.

I am among those rejected this year. I hope that this can bring some comradery and solace to others in the same boat as myself. This was my second application to OVC. I had fantastic references, ample relevant experiences (work with veal, dairy cattle, dairy goats, poultry, companion animals (dogs and cats), several co-authored publications, previous work at OVC, a 4th quartile Casper, but an academic average of 87%. I encourage those rejected to keep your head up but give yourself time to grieve the loss. I still hope to seek the DVM degree in the future, and I hope you have the courage to as well!
