Hi everyone! I was not able to find a thread for grad cohort applicants. As a grad student who is planning to apply to OVC through the grad cohort, does anyone have any advice or insight about the process? I'm confused about the way grades are weighed and the 'full-time course load' aspect as a thesis-based MSc student (registered as a full-time student but for research and writing). Course prerequisites- can I use 6000 level courses that are on the prereq list, in a semester with being enrolled as a full-time grad student with research/writing? It's hard to find information for thesis-based MSc students. Hopefully this thread will be helpful to everyone!

Have you found any information on this? I am currently in the same boat. I am completing my masters and looking to take 6000 level courses or 4000 level courses at the same time to use as prerequisites.

For course approvals please go through the same process as dictated on our website. Do not assume courses you take as a graduate student would fulfill the prerequisites, and you must be registered as a full-time student in any semester you want courses to count.

Yes just make sure you're following all the rules ... If a grad student is applying through the undergrad cohort, does their 2 most recent full-time semesters as a grad student go towards their average or last 2 undergrad semesters?
