I was wondering if any upper years can advise me. I am wanting to get my wisdom teeth removed in September because our dental insurance plan renews and I need to do it ASAP because it hurts so much . I was thinking of doing it in September as I know it would be busier later on during the school year. Only thing is my dentist is only opened on weekdays when there’s classes. Are lectures for the DVM curriculum posted online/ recorded? I wouldn’t want to miss anything important

Classes are often recorded, and you can always ask someone is your practice group for notes if not. You typically don’t have any tests or labs in first year until after thanksgiving

I genuinely wouldn't stress! Some people skip classes constantly (on purpose, not because of appointments lol) and still do just fine, so just missing a day is definitely doable <3 Labs are what's more important not to miss, but even those vary in helpfulness, especially in first year.

Thank you! Do you know if we are required to tell the professors ahead of time/show proof etc. if we are going to miss a lecture?
