Hey all.... Just had a random question and wanted to know people's opinions... Say by the time interviews came around a female was around 6-7 months pregnant and it's noticable. So they'd probably end up having the baby before school started in September.
But say you applied and were granted an interview, how do you think the interviewers and ad coms would respond to that? Would they think you were less serious about vet school? Like I know there are a bunch of females that get married and have kids in vet school so it's not like you'd be any less capable of handling both.
But if they knew before they accepted you... I just don't know what to think about how they'd respond....
And how can you tell if they'd really be assessing your answers fairly and not giving you a possible lower score (for the undergrad or grad cohort) because of them percieving you are pregnant??
Should you maybe mention something and say how you are preparing to handle school and the baby? (well I guess that wouldn't work well in the undergrad interviews unless you had time to mention it at every station) But I guess you'd be able to address it better if you applied in the grad cohort since I think the interviews are still a two-on-one type thing.
Any thoughts???

You cannot be discriminated against based on your pregnancy. It won't matter at all. We assume you will make appropriate arrangements
